I am very honoured and excited that KOLO is providing two of their new Kaji Album for my Universal Scrapbooks Project. For a time now I have been wishing that KOLO will release a true scrapbook album line, with effective page size of 12″x12″ – the standard in scrapbooking world – kept inside protective pockets that make up the pages inside the album. So you can imagine how excited I was when I heard about the Kaji. Especially when it’s agreed that they will send me a couple of Kaji to use for my Universal Scrapbooks Project! Yipppeee!!! I can’t wait to see the Kaji in person.
In keeping with the Portals which, together with the Universal Scrapbooks are also part of the Dream Archives, the Kaji albums I’ll be using for the Universal Scrapbooks are in Chocolate and Red. But I know that I’ll be wanting other colors for my personal uses too! I have always loved their Ocean color, but I think the new Lake color will take over. Check out all the other scrumptious colors they have here.
Now, have you decided what your Dream-Signifier Object will be? Come send it out to me soon so it can be included in the Universal Scrapbooks, housed in these beautiful KOLO Kaji albums and shown in my solo art exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia this fall!

I was talking to the product manager Kyle at Kolo today about the development of the Kolo Kaji and he pointed out something that I thought you, Fhung, and your visitors might like to know, since you’re all fans of the 12×12 size album:
He said that the Kolo Kaji is deliberately sized/designed specifically so that fans of the Kolo Newport 12″x12″ album could intermingle their Newport 12×12 cloth-hinged scrapbook pages along with Kaji 12×12 top-load pocket pages, all within in the same album if they wish.
For those who want more details about the Kolo Kaji, a news release will be up soon on http://www.kolo.com on the Press Page (which you can access from the kolo.com home page, near the bottom). Will take a day or so before it is up.
