The Portals consist of curious art-objects and contraptions housed inside altered KOLO Havana boxes. As the name suggests, they serve as portals into various dreams in their various, layered meanings. When the time come, I will invite you to open each of them to join in the adventurous journey of pondering and wandering into our subsconscious realms.
KOLO Havana boxes used in this projects are the Large (2.75” X 12.5” X 9.75”) and Medium (5.5” X 7.75” X 9.75” ) sizes, mostly in Chocolate with some in Red. I choose to use KOLO Havana boxes because their classy and simple style provides a wonderful component for my art. The tested durability and archival quality of KOLO products will certainly help preserve the resulting artwork better. You can find KOLO Havana boxes in a host of beautiful colors here.
